Eastern International University (EIU) is a new private university located 25 miles north of Ho Chi Minh City in the Binh Duong province. The university was built by Becamex IDC as part of Binh Duong New City, a comprehensive sustainable city being developed in the Binh Duong province. EIU prides itself on having the most modern facilities of any university in Vietnam, and is committed to meeting international standards of higher education in our curriculum. As part of its mission as an international university, EIU is offering a short-term study abroad opportunity for American students to visit Vietnam and learn about the country, the people and language.

EIU offers a range of one-week to one-month study programs, including intensive beginning Vietnamese Language courses, with options in Business Administration and Cultural Studies. Students will be able to earn 4 to 8 credits during the program. They will study with Vietnamese students, enjoy housing in the Becamex Hotel nearby Thu Dau Mot, and participate in field trips to Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta, and one of Vietnam's beautiful beaches.

EIU's application deadline is May 16th 2015. The program is limited to 20 students, so early application is encouraged. Students who enroll by February 28th will receive a $300 tuition discount.
