Program Description

LUT offers a wide variety of courses taught in English in the fields of business and technology. Most of the courses are intended for Master's level or final year Bachelor students, but there are also choices available for those in their Bachelor studies (IBTM programme only). The appreciated International Business and Technology Management (IBTM) programme offers a carefully planned package of business and management studies. And in the field of engineering, we offer studies in seven different fields of technology.

Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) is a pioneering science university in Finland, bringing together the fields of science and business since 1969. Their international community is composed of approximately 6,500 students and experts engaged in scientific research and academic education.Their strength lies in our way of working together across scientific and departmental boundaries. We are constantly expanding our networks in both the business and the academic community.

Classes in English available.

Tuition is free. All IIT students have to pay is an obligatory student union fee (53 euros / semester during 2014-2015) at LUT. Applicants must have completed 2 years of undergraduate study and have a 3.0 GPA to apply. Apply on the website as an exchange student, even though technically this would not be an exchange (you are directly enrolling to the university and not paying IIT tuition during your stay there)
