The Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology are offering a spring semester study abroad program, taught in English by professors at Ecole Nationale Superieure de l’Electronique et de se Applications (ENSEA), one of the top engineering universities in France.
ENSEA is located in Cergy-Pontoise, France, 40 minutes from the Champs Elysées in Paris.
Federal financial aid can be used for this program. Tuition is paid directly to ENSEA; students do not pay tuition to IIT during the study abroad period.
Please plan for passport/visa cost (required) and travel within Europe (optional). Weekend travel via train from Paris to cities including Berlin, Prague, Venice, and London is very affordable.
Students must be in their third year of an electrical and/or computer engineering major in Spring 2012 and in good academic standing. Computer Science majors are also eligible. Eligibility is reviewed on a case by case basis with your advisor.
Students will take 5 courses (18 credits hours) which will be arranged with your advisor. Available courses taught in English include:
CS 350 (also works as ECE 242)
HUM 190 (French Culture, required)
(See attached document for all courses and their descriptions)
If you are currently enrolled in these courses, you CAN change your schedule without penalty prior to the add/drop date (Sept. 3, 2011). See Dr. Saniie in SH 103 for details.
